While many people prefer Spring or Summer for their weddings, either because of the weather or how versatile the styles can be for those seasons, Fall has a special place in the hearts of wedding planners. Autumn is a season of changes, when green turns into many colors on trees and provides a very spiritual setting, so it gives the wedding an opportunity to be special.

Use the rustic colors of Autumn to create a romantic wedding of the century!

Here are some fall-inspired wedding decorations that you’ll surely love!

You can use leaves and pumpkins in your decor.

This one might be a no-brainer, but many people forget to use actually elements of fall, and instead just settle for the orange and brown. Go all out in some places, and add real leaves, pumpkins, and even berries. Add some nice, short and tall tapered candles, so you can dabble with elements of Halloween without it being spooky. The long tables of your wedding reception will look exceptional.

Go with a lighter look.

If you want a more toned down fall look, then have a traditional all-white wedding, but with chic, fall accents in the decorations. Mix white candles with white pumpkins, lace or flowers so you get a stunning, seasonal look.

Add some hints of metallics.

Sometimes, you don’t need fall colors, just fall elements. And you can use this to your advantage if you want a classy, metallic look. Paint some champagne gold on your mini pumpkins, or white metallic on the larger ones. They’re fabulous as a centerpiece, in the aisles or on the side of the cake (which hopefully is pumpkin flavored).

Floating candles.

These are always popular at any wedding, especially in more natural venues. For an autumn version of this favorite decor, use fruits and vegetables, symbolizing the coming harvest of your love. Use apples, pumpkins, squash, pears, or anything that floats when hollowed out and with candles inside them.

Jewel-toned hues.

Mix it up a bit with the fall colors, and go for less common ones, like gem-inspired colors. What do we mean by “gem”? Well, instead of the typical mix of oranges, reds, browns, and golds, go for the blues, purples, and reds. Then use metallic accents on them, so there’s some warmth but splendour at your tables.

有节制的使用下降元素。

Don’t get too carried away with fall. You can still use traditional, colorful flowers or decorations, with only hints of “fall”, like wooden items, metals, and other bits of fall that will mix with the rest of the decor.

Use leaves as place cards.

Use real leaves (or paper cut into the shape of leaves) as place cards! It’s a colorful detail, and you don’t necessarily have to use “fall” colors like orange and brown, since the leaves themselves are reminiscent of “autumn” enough. Add some nice calligraphy to them and you’re all set.

Get inspired by these fall wedding decorations ideas above! Decorate your aisle with pumpkins, fall leaves, apples, and other fall-inspired decorations. Rustic fall weddings are adorably cozy, so it's best to keep it at a bare minimum. As for the food, opt for simple yet tasty recipes like home pies instead of the usual cake.
